Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs - June 3 - 9, 2013

It was a very good week for original scripted programming on cable TV. Three of the top over all shows on cable were scripted series, including GAME OF THORNES at #2, with 5.4 million viewers. A total of eight programs drew over 3 million viewers.

Premiering on Sunday night was TNT's FALLING SKIES. The third season sic-fi drama collected 4.2 million viewers and a solid 1.5 demo rating.

Nickelodeon's double spin-off series SAM & CAT drew great ratings, on Saturday night. 4.2 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere episode of the kid sitcom. That is more than any program on broadcast TV, with exception of the two episode of 48 HOURS, on CBS.

Disney Channel lead all networks with four programs in the top 20. Lifetime followed with three shows, including ARMY WIVES at #10.
