Ratings Review: CASTLE (Season 5)

CASTLE's fifth season was one of maturing into a solid performer for ABC. It regularly won its time slot, held a high percentage of its lead in and one of the few bright spots on the ABC schedule. The only down side to the series is that it performs to the level of its lead in.

Once DANCING WITH THE STARS was on winter hiatus, CASTLE only once reached viewership of over 10 million viewers. With DWTS as the lead in, it never dipped below 10 million viewers.

For the season, CASTLE averaged 9.5 million viewers and a 1.9 demo rating on 29 airings, with five of thos airings being repeat episodes.
