Ratings Review: AMERICAN DAD (Season Nine)

AMERICAN DAD will be back for the 2013-14 season, but it could be the next veteran FOX 'toon to leave at the end of next season. Based on how FOX scheduled the series for the 2012-13 season, there does not appear to be much love for the series.

For instance, AMERICAN DAD only TWICE aired an original episode for three straight weeks. The first did not happen until February. Five months after its season premiere.  Out of 33 weeks, AMERICAN DAD was preempted eight times.

Given all of that, the series still averaged 4 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That is just  about 17% off from its lead in, FAMILY GUY. But is it enough to get beyond 2014?
