CBS News Sunday Morning Ratings Release: November 10, 2019
CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation’s #1 Sunday morning news program, posted audience gains year-to-year and delivered its best audience this season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 10.
Sunday’s broadcast delivered 5.71 million viewers with 1.1 million in the advertiser-desired adults 25-54 demographic. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers compared to the same week a year ago. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was #1 in both categories.
Sunday’s broadcast was anchored by Jane Pauley and featured Susan Spencer’s cover story on grief. The broadcast also featured Tracy Smith’s sit-down with actors Christian Bale and Matt Damon, Norah O’Donnell’s interview with Nikki Haley, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and Martha Teichner’s profile of artist Mary Whyte. Also on the broadcast was Mark Phillips’ look at the new season of “The Crown,” Serena Altschul’s report on the story behind the updated edition of the classic cookbook, Joy of Cooking, Mark Strassmann’s interview with “Forrest Gump” actor Michael Connor Humphreys, and Steve Hartman reported on a hero nurse and the extraordinary help she provided a young autistic man.
