Weekly Sports Ratings: July 8 - 14, 2019
Baseball took center stage with the 90th MLB All-Star Game, on FOX. the summer classic drew just over 8.1 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. Although it was an all-time low, it was far better than anything other sports offering, for the week.
Monday's Home Run Derby was held its own, with a 1.8 demo rating, with almost three million viewers less than the actual game, on Tuesday night.
With what many are saying is one of the all-time best Wimbledon men's finals, ESPN could only attract 3.3 million viewers, for a 9 AM, ET, start. The encore, airing at 3 PM, added another 1.1 million viewers.
