US Box Office Results: July 5 - 7, 2019
The latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, dethrones TOY STORY 4 as the #1 movie over the Independence Day holiday weekend. The film grosses $92.6 million, over the three-day weekend and accumulated over $185 million since its release on July 2.
TOY STORY 4, dropped to second place, grabbing another $33.9 million and bringing its 17-day total to just over $306 million, ranking it fourth on the year, with ALADDIN in its sights, for the #3 position.
The British film, YESTERDAY was the third and last film of the weekend to bring in 8-fugures, with a $10.1 million take. The alternate history movie has collected over $36.1 million, domestically, surpassing its $26 million budget
