US Box Office Results: May 3 - 5, 2019
As expected, AVENGERS ENDGAME remained the #1 movie in North America, hauling in $145.8 million, bringing its 10-day domestic total to just under $620 million. That ranks it at #9 on the all-time list, just ahead of INCREDIBLES 2 and behind THE LAST JEDI. ENDGAME should have no problem making it to the #3 spot, by this time next week, passing BLACK PANTHER and catching AVATAR for the #2 spot. But it is still $over $315 million behind THE FORCE AWAKENS, in the #1 position.
New films THE INTRUDER ($11 million), LONG SHOT ($10 million) and UGLYDOLLS ($8.5 million) were ranked second though fourth, respectively, THE INTRUDER has passed its $8 million production budget, while UGLYDOLLS will fall far short of its $45 million price tag.
