US Box Office Results: May 17 - 19, 2019

JOHN WICK 3 was the "endgame", topping the Marvel film for the #1 spot on the Box Office chart. The Keanu Reeves film grossed over $57 million in its first three days, topping AVENGERS ENDGAME by nearly $30 million. This is the best opening of the three JOHN WICK films, getting $27 million more than Chapter Two, back in 2017. FOR ENDGAME, it crossed over the $770 million mark, domestically, passing AVATAR as the #2 film on the all-time chart, $170 million behind STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.

New film, A DOG'S JOURNEY, ranked 4th on the weekend, grabbing just $8 million in its first three days of release.
