US Box Office Results: April 26 - 28, 2019
AVENGERS: ENDGAME collected $350 million in its first three days of release, breaking just about record possible in the process. Biggest Thursday preview, Biggest Friday, Biggest Saturday, and so on. Worldwide, the film has already crossed the $1.2 billon mark. It is a real chance the film could get $1 billion, domestically, by the end of its theatrical run.
To put a little perspective on how massive ENGAME was this weekend, the #2 film, CAPTAIN MARVEL, grossed just 2.3 percent of what the the fourth AVENGERS film grossed and the #15 film, KALANK, was less the nine-hundredths of one percent. So every $1,000 AVENGERS made, KALANK made about 88 cents.
AVENGERS will have a massive drop next weekend as the number of screens and the near round the clock start times, drop at least 50%, if not more.
