US Box Office Results: March 15 - 17, 2019
CAPTAIN MARVEL dominated the domestic box office, for the second weekend in a row, adding another $69.3 million. Its 10-day domestic total is now over$266 million and worldwide, CAPTAIN MARVEL had grossed over $760 million. Within the MCU, CAPTAIN MARVEL ranks 13th, $44 million below the #12 film, IRON MAN 2.
Four new releases made this week's chart, led by the animated movie, WONDER PARK, in the #2 spot. The paramount film took in $16 million in its first three days, topping FIVE FEET APART by $2.8 million. In under 500 theaters, the comedy NO MANCHES FRIDA 2 grossed $3.9 million, topping CAPTIVE STATE, which was in over 2,500 theaters.
