Weekly Primetime Cable News: November 5 - 9, 2018
It was a big week for the cable news networks, with the mid-term elections happening on Tuesday night. CNN comes out on top, in the A18-49 demographic, with strong Tuesday numbers carrying average to a win. The network averaged a 1.9 rating, in the demo, on the night, topping FOX News by a half point and MSNBC by more than a full point.
FOX News was the most watched, averaging over four million viewers. On election night, FNC averaged 7.8 million viewers, nearly three million viewers more than CNN and MSNBC.
