US Box Office Results: November 23 - 25, 2018
RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET was the big winner of theater goers during the Thanksgiving weekend, collecting $55.7 million from Friday - Sunday, and a total of $84.5 million since its Wednesday release. The $55.7 million for the weekend tops the opening weekend of the original movie, in 2012, by $6.6 million. it is also the fourth best opeing for a Walt Disney Animated Studios release, just behind BIG HERO 6.
CREED II also debuted this weekend, grossing $35.3 million from Friday to Sunday, and $55.8 for the five day holiday weekend. That makes it the top opeing for a movie in the ROCKEY series and doubles 2015's CREED movie.
New and in wide release was the latest ROBIN HOOD (#7) movie. With just $9.1 million for the weekend and $14.22 over the first five days, theater goers appear really tired of the story.
