Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 10/31/2018

FOX and NBC battled it out for the being the top network on Wednesday night, with NBC taking three of the four categories, but FOX winning the A18-34 demo and on the heals of NBC in the other two demo categories.

NBC sported three of the four most watched programs, with 10 PM's CHICAGO PD ranking fourth overall, on the night. CHICAGO FIRE and CHICAGO PD won their respective time slots, with CHICAGO MED, coming in second to SURVIVOR.

FOX was fourth in total viewership but a solid second in the demos, thanks to demo-heavy EMPIRE and STAR.

ABC and CBS fought for third place, with CBS winning out with better total viewership and a better A25-54 demo. The two networks tied in the two younger demographic categories.

The CW placed encores on its schedule, producing minimal ratings.
