Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 10/18/18

A low rated Thursday Night Football game topped the night in the demographic categories, but saw a drop of over 40% in the A18-49 demographic and a loss of 4.5 million viewers, from last week's preliminary ratings.

CBS was the most watched network, attracting an average of 8.1 million viewers and topped NBC for second place in the demo ratings.

NBC topped ABC, despite bing fourth place in the first two hours, but LAW & ORDER, winning the 10 PM hour, helped salvage the night and a third place showing for NBC.

ABC was hur by preempting GREY'S ANATOMY with the annual animated Halloween specials. CHARLIE BROWN and TOY STORY barely topped the two NBC 8 PM comedies.
