Preliminary Ratings: Monday 10/15/2018
NBC wins the Monday night ratings, airing the top two shows of the night, in both total viewers and in the demographic ratings. Two hours of THE VOICE attracted 9.9 million and posted a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. That led into MANIFEST, which retained 7.5 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in the demo.
FOX kicked of its night with a new episode of THE RESIDENT, which posted a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49 and collected 4.8 million viewers, ranking fourth in the 8 PM hour. At 9 PM, 9-1-1 grew viewership to 6.2 million and increased the demo by 50%. 9-1-1 was second in the 9 PM hour.
Over on ABC, DANCING WITH THE STARS averaged 7.1 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the A18-49 demographic, from 8 to 10 PM. THE GOOD DOCTOR followed up with seven million viewers and a 1..1 demographic rating.
CBS was a competitive fourth on the night, opening with the new comedies, THE NEIGHBORHOOD (6.4 million, 1.1 demo rating) and HAPPY TOGETHER (4.8 million , 0.9 demo rating), and ranking third in the 8 PM hour. MAGNUM PI followed at 9 PM, dropping CBS to fourth in the hour, with a 0.8 demo rating and 5.4 million viewers. BULL closed the night, drawing 6.3 million viewers and a 0.7 demo, ranking last in the hour.
The CW debuted its new Monday night line up, starting with ARROW and its 1.4 million viewers and a 0.4 demographic rating. A special CONSTANTINE: THE LEGEND CONTINUES, aired at 9 PM, losing over half its lead in and 75% of the A18-34 demographic.
