Preliminary Ratings: Monday 10/08/2018

THE Voice lead NBC to a ratings victory, on Monday night, grabbing 9.7 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49, down slightly from last week's numbers. New drama, MANIFEST continues to fall from its big premiere numbers, retaining 7.8 million viewers and a 1.7 in the demo. Week-to-week, the series is down over one million viewers, but just a tenth of a point in the demo. NBC averaged 9.1 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic.

FOX edged ABC for second, with an average of 5.4 million viewers and a 1.2 demographic rating. THE RESIDENT continues to place fourth in its 8 PM time slot, with 4.9 million viewers and a 0.9 demo. Hit drama, 9-1-1, grew the FOX audience to 5.9 million viewers and a 1.4 rating, in the 9 PM hour. Both dramas are down from last week.

DANCING WITH THE STARS had significant growth over last week, grabbing 7.6 million viewers (+9%) and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49 (+38%). At 10 PM, THE GOOD DOCTOR grew the A18-49 demo by a tenth of a point, but lost 200,000 total viewers. The puts AC's nightly average at 7.6 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating.

Week two of the new CBS sitcoms saw viewership drop by 1.7 million viewers for THE NEIGHBORHOOD, and one million viewers for HAPPY TOGETHER. Each comedy saw the demo drop by about 10%, over last week. MAGNUM PI held mostly stead, delivering the same A18-49 rating, a 0.9 score, and viewership was in the low six million. Third year drama, BULL, stays in third place, at 10 PM, with 6.4 million viewers and a 0.7 demo. that is a half a point #2 THE GOOD DOCTOR, in the demo, and one million viewers less than the medical drama.

Night two of the iHeartRadio music Festival drew just 600,000 viewers and a 0.2 demo rating, for the CW.
