Preliminary Ratings: Monday 10/01/2018
NBC held its Monday night title, wining the 8th night of the young TV season. THE VOICE and MANIFEST pushed NBC to 2.0 rating average, in Adults 18-49, and 9.5 million viewers. THE VOICE grew, week-to-week, in viewers and maintained all A18-49 viewers. MANIFEST dropped two million viewers and 19% of the key demo audience, from last week's premiere.
FOX was second on the night, as 9-1-1 drew 6.1 million viewers and a 1.5 A18-49 rating, at 9 PM, growing out of THE RESIDENT's 4.8 million viewers and 1.0 demographic rating. FOX's average was 1.2 in the A18-49 demo and 5.5 million viewers.
CBS edges out ABC for third, with 6.7 million viewers and a 1.0 demo. New 8 PM comedy, THE NEIGHBORHOOD, premiered to 8.1 million viewers and a 1.3 demographic rating, while the lead out of HAPPY TOGETHER, at 8 :30 PM, retained 5.9 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. MAGNUM PI dropped 33% in the demo and two million viewers, from last week's premiere, while BULL maintained its third place standing, at 10 PM, with 6.6 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating.
ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS collected 7.3 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, fourth in the time slot. THE GOOD DOCTOR grew to a 1.2 demo rating and 7.5 million viewers, at 10 PM, giving ABC an average of 7.4 million viewers and a 1.0 demo on the night.
The CW finales of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US attracted 1.2 million viewers and a 0.3 demo, while a new WHOSE LINE? dropped a half million viewers and a third in the demo, at 9 PM.
