Preliminary Ratings: Friday 10/12/2018

FOX continues to win Friday nights, averaging a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers. CBS, the most watched network with 7.4 million viewers, was second in the A18-49 demo, with a 0.8 rating. NBC with the premiere of BLINDSPOT, scored a 0.7 rating in the demo, while averaging 3.9 million viewers. ABC, again in fourth place, hauled ina 0.5 demographic rating, along with just 2.8 million viewers. The CW, with the two lowest rated series in 2017-18, averaged under 600,000 viewers and less than a 0.2 demo rating, for the premieres of DYNASTY and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND.

FOX wins 8 PM with he combo of LAST MAN STANDING (1.4 demo) and THE COOL KIDS (1.0 demo). The two comedies are the only two to score demographic numbers of a 1.0, or better. The BLIND SPOT premiere was third in the hour, behind MACGYVER, with under three million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Last place DYNASTY was at a 0.2 demo and 700k in viewers.

CBS wins the 9 PM hour, as HAWAII FIVE-O draws 7.7 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating, tying HELL'S KITCHEN and DATELINE in the demo. The season premiere of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND scores a low 400,000 viewers and a 0.1 demo.

BLUE BLOODS tops the final hour of the night, attracting 8.2 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating.
