Preliminary Ratings: Friday 08/31/2018

The beginning of the three day holiday weekend pushed the ratings low on Friday night.Only four programs achieved a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49 on the night, 20/20, AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR, DATELINE and TKO. Every other program was a 0.4, or lower, with The CW doing no better than a 0.2 rating in the category, along with an encore of THE ORVILLE.

DATELINE and BLUE BLOODS were the only two shows getting more than three million viewers, with BLUE BLOODS being the most watched, with 3.4 million. The least watched shows were all on The CW and FOX.

For the night, NBC is #1, averaging 2.7 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. CBS is second with a 0.4 demo and just under 2.7 million viewers. ABC also posted a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic, but averaged just 2.4 million viewers. FOX tops the CW, with a 0.3 demo and 1.3 million to a 0.2 demo and one million viewers.
