Final Broadcast Ratings: September 9, 2018

FOX had the first season/series premiere of the new season, as the comedy, REL, debuted after the network's NFL coverage. The sitcom brought in 5.5 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. Not great numbers, but better than what FOX usually gets out of the time slot. If you are enthusiastic about the new series, it will be a few weeks before the second episode airs.

Sunday Night Football held onto its Thursday's Kickoff game number, averaging 22.1 million viewers and a 7.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up 3.1 million in total viewers and nearly a full point in the demo. Compared to last years game, ratings are down 2.3 million viewers and 12% in the demo.

The 2019 MISS AMERICA event took a sharp plunge, over last year's contest, dropping nearly 40% from the 2018 telecast.
