CBS snaps NBC's season opening winning streak by taking Wednesday night in the ratings. The combo of the SURVIVOR season premiere and the BIG BROTHER finale, pushed CBS to #1 in three of the four reported categories.FOX is right on the heels of CBS, tying in the A18-49 demo and winning in the A18-34 demo. EMPIRE is the #1 program in the demographic ratings, while STAR ranks third in the 9 PM hour.
ABC and NBC were neck-and-neck for third. The all-CHICAGO NBC was consistent through the night, with only the 10 PM, CHICAGO PD, slight dropping from the other two series of the franchise. ABC's comedies, from 8 to 10 PM, ranked third in their respective time slots. New drama, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS debuted soft, ranking last in the hour.
