US Box Office Results: August 3 - 5, 2018
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT hold off two new movies, to win its second weekend in a row. The Tom Cruise movie collected $35.0 million, $10 million more than the #2 movie, to bring its 10-day total to $124.5 million.
DISNEY'S CHRISTOPHER ROBIN took the #2 spot, with $25 million in its first three days of release. That doubles up the #3 movie, THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME, to be the best new relase of the weekend.
ANT-MAN & THE WASP (#7) adds another $6.2 million to its total of $195.5 million, domestically, and should pass the $200 million mark by this time next week.
INCREDIBLES 2 continues to attract movie-goers, adding another five million dollars to its domestic total, now at just over $583 million. Worldwide, the film had taken in $1.05 billion.
