Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 08/22/2018

It is another nightly win for NBC, sweeping the night for the second consecutive night. NBC lead of the night with the Wednesday edition of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, attracting the second best ratings of the night, including a the best A25-54 rating, a 2.1 score. Two hours of WORLD OF DANCE won its time slots, retaining roughly 75-80% of its lead in demographic audience.

Two hours of MASTERCHEF helped FOX take second on the night, with the cooking series averaging 3.3 million viewers and a solid 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49.

CBS was a close third, mainly on the strength of BIG BROTHER, the nights best rated program.

ABC could not do better than fourth place, even with the two-hour special, THE STORY OF THE ROYALS, from 9 to 11 PM.
