Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 08/26/2018

NBC wins a rare summer sunday evening, with a preseason Sunday night Football game, drawing seven million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. it was easily the top rated show of the evening, with only BIG BROTHER challenging it, in the 8 PM hour. NBC won every hour of the night, including the 7 PM time slot, with DATELINE grabbing 5.8 million viewers and a 1.0 demographic rating.

ABC, with its game show triple-header, was second on the night, edging CBS for the spot. CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD collected 6.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the A18-49 demo, for third in the 8 PM hour, while $100,000 PYRAMID and TO TELL THE TRUTH each came in second, in their respective time slots.

BIG BROTHER stayed strong against the NFL game, averaging a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers. Otherwise, CBS was 4th place from 9 to 11 PM, with drama encores.

FOX was all comedy repeats, but still stayed competitive with ABC and CBS on the night.
