Preliminary Ratings: Monday 08/13/2018
ABC and NBC split the Monday night leadership, with both networks posting a 1.0 in the A18-49 demographic. ABC topped NBC in the younger A18-34 age group, with a 0.8 rating vs 0.5 rating, but NBC drew more viewers, 4.9 to 3.9 million. FOX and CBS battled it out for third, with CBS getting more viewers, 3.4 million vs 2.6 million, while FOX did better in the key A18-49 demo, 0.6 vs 0.4 ratings. The CW was not too far behind, with a 0.4 demographic ratings and averaging 1.4 million viewers.
At 8 PM, BACHELOR IN PARADISE makes its Monday night debut, winning the two-hour block with a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49 and attracting 4.5 million viewers. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR was second with a 1.0 demo rating, but was the most watched program of the night, with 5.2 million viewers. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was third with a 0.6 demo rating, while collecting 2.6 million viewers, from 8 to 10 PM. The CBS comedy encores was right behind, in fourth with 3.8 million viewers and just under a 0.6 demo rating, while PENN & TELLER was last with 1.7 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating in the A18-49 age group.
At 9 PM, The CW topped CBS as WHOSE LINE? posted a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 demo, along with 1.3 million viewers. SALVATION was the lowest rated show of the night, with a 0.3 rating, polus 2.6 million viewers.
10 PM has NBC passing ABC for first place, with DATELINE grabbing 4.4 million viewers and a solid 0.8 demo rating. THE PROPOSAL was next with 2.5 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. CBS' ELEMENTARY was last with just a 0.4 demo and 3.5 million viewers.
