Final Broadcast Ratings: August 1, 2018

NBC takes the Wednesday night ratings, as the two hour episode of WORLD OF DANCE generates 5.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49, up from last week's Wednesday episode. NBC's average edges over FOX and CBS, with the summer staple doing good numbers, over most of the night.

CBS tied FOX and NBC for first in the A18-34 demographic, on the back of the #1 show of the night, BIG BROTHER. The reality series attracted 5.6 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in the A18-49 demo.

FOX only had one original hour on the night, with MASTERCHEF posting a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49.

The CW said good-bye to THE ORIGINALS to just under 900,000 total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating. That is on par with last week's ratings.
