CBS edges out FOX as the top network on Wednesday night, with an average of 4.7 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. FOX matched FOX in the demo, but only grabbed 3.4 million viewers. ABC tops NBC with 3.9 million viewers to 2.7 million, and a 0.9 demographic rating to 0.5 rating. The CW was last with just under 600,000 total viewers and a 0.2 demo.,
BIG BROTHER won the 8 PM hour, as the nights #1 program, attracting 5.2 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. MASTERCHEF was second with a 1.0 demo rating and 3.5 million viewers. ABC's coverage of the ESPY Awards was third in the hour, collecting 3.9 million viewers., An encore of ELLEN'S GAME OF GAMES was fourth, posting a 0.7 demo and four milliuon viewers. The CW special, GIRL GOT GAME the evening's worst ratings, with a 0.1 demo rating and under 500,000 viewers.
At 9 PM, 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK topped TKO, in the demo, with a 1.0 to 0.8 rating. TKO drew slightly more viewers than FOX, 3.4 million to 3.3 million. An encore of WORLD OF DANCE was fourth in the hour, keeping 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, from its 8 PM lead in. THE ORIGINALS grew out of the CW special, doubling the demo and adding over 200,000 total viewers.
At 10 PM, THE ESPY Awards topped the hour, with the Season finale of CODE BLACK just behind with 5.3 million viewers and a 0.7 demographic rating. NBC's REVERIE was lst in the hour, with 1.7 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
