Preliminary Ratings: Friday 07/13/2018

CBS was Friday night's most watched network, averaging 3.7 million viewers on the night. The series premiere of WHISTLEBLOWER was pretty soft, at 8 PM, grabbing just 3.1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49, for the #2 spot in the hour. Encores of HAWAII FIVE-O and BLUE BLOODS won their respect hours in total viewers.

NBC was the top network in the A18-49 demographic, averaging a 0.6 rating. An encore of AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR won the 8-10 PM time slot, with a 0.6 demo rating, but drew just  2.8 million total viewers. At 10 PM, Dateline drew three million viewers and a 0.6 demographic rating, coming in second for the hour, behind 20/20.

ABC was second in total viewers, with 2.9 million, and second in the A18-49 demo, with a 0.5 rating. A new episode of QUANTICO cam in third in the hour, with a 0.4 demo and 2.7 million viewers. WHAT WOULD YOU DO was second at 9 PM, with a 0.5 rating and 2.6 million viewers.

FOX was an noncompetitive fourth place, with just 1.1 million viewers and a 0.3 demo rating, barely topping The CW on the night.
