The fifth movie in the JURASSIC PARK franchise, JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM, hauled in $150 million in its first weekend of release to be the #1 movie in America. But, that is a drop of 28% from 2015's JURASSIC WORLD opening weekend. It is also over $30 million less than last week's INCREDIBLES 2 opening weekend.
INCREDIBLES 2 was the #2 movie of the weekend, dropping $100 million from last week, but has pushed its domestic total to $350 million, after just 10 days of release.
At #6, SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY crosses the $200 million mark, but it has taken five weeks to accomplish the milestone.
