US Box Office Results: June 1 - 3, 2018
SOLO continues as the #1 movie in America, grabbing $29.3 million and bringing its 10-day total to a relatively disappointing $148.9 million. The STAR WARS STORY will end up as the lowest grossing movie in the franchise, after is domestic run.
New drama, ADRIFT ranked third in its initial weekend, grossing $11.5 million, giving it a projected total domestic take of around $30 million, falling short of the movie's $35 million production budget.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR continues to draw movie goers, adding another $10.4 million and bringing its six week total to $643 million. That brings it to within $10 million of JURASSIC WORLD for the #5 spot on the all-time list.
