US Box Office: May 18 - 20, 2018

From one superhero movie to another, as DEADPOOL 2 wins the weekend box office with $125.5 million.  That is only $7 million below the original 2016 movie, which went on to gross over $363 million, domestically.

AVENGER: INFINITY WAR drops to the #2 spot, with another $29.4 million. To date, the movie has grossed $595 million, domestically, ranking it 8th on the all-time list, with STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI just $25 million ahead, in the #7 spot.

To show that older women can bring be a financial force, BOOK CLUB took in $13.6 million in its first weekend, ranking third on the weekend chart. The small production has a chance to grab $50 million in its theatrical release.
