Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 05/17/2018

Thursday was loaded with season finales, pushing ABC and CBS to split the Thursday night leadership. With GREY'S ANATOMY and STAION 19 finales, ABC won the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics. GREY'S was the #1 show in all three demo categories and was the most watched show of the night. S19 tied for second in the A18-34, but fell further back as the demographic got older. The premiere of WHAT WOULD YOU DO fell flat, ranking last at 10 PM.

CBS ended LIFE IN PIECES and SWATm with PIECES coming in second for the 9 PM hour and SWAT winning the 10 PM hour. Encores of BIG BANG and YOUNG SHELDON was second in the 8 PM hour.

NBC edged out FOX and The CW with a two hour season premiere of AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR. the competition series collected 3.4 million viewers and a 0.8 demographic rating, holding its ELLEN'S GAME OF GAMES encore lead in.

GOTHM ended its second to last season with just 2.2 million viewers and a 0.6 demographic rating.

The CW nearly past FOX, with its duo of finales, tying FOX in the A18-34 demo and a tenth of a point behind in the A18-49 demo.
