Preliminary Ratings: Friday 05/04/2018
CBS tops the Friday night ratings, averaging a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49 and just under seven million total viewers. FOX was even with CBS in the A18-49 demo, but only averaged 2.8 million viewers. NBC was third with a 0.6 demo rating and 3.7 million viewers, while fourth place ABC averaged under two million viewers and a 0.4 demographic rating. The CW averaged one million viewers and a 0.2 demo.
All three CBS shows won their time slots in total viewers, with 6.1 million for MACGYVER, 7.0 million for HAWAII FIVE-O and 7.7 million for BLUE BLOODS. H5o and BBLUE BLOODS won their time slots in the A18-49 demo, with 0.7 ratings, while MACGYVER was second, with a 0.6 rating.
A two hour MASTERCHEF JR. won the 8 pm hour in the A18-49 demo, with a 0.7 rating and averaged 2.8 million viewers over the two hours.
On NBC, BLINDSPOT drew 2.6 million viewers and a 0.5 rating for third int he 8 PM hour, while DATELINE averaged a 0.7 demographic rating and 4.2 million viewers.
ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME did drew two million viewers, while AGENTS OF SHIELD struggled to grab 1.6 million. Both shows posted a 0.4 rating in the A18-49 age group.
The CW looks to have some local preemptions included in their averages, as there is no way DYNASTY would draw 1.1 million viewers and LIFE SENTENCE 900,000. Expect that to be halved, or more, come finals on Monday night.
