Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 04/25/2018

CBS wins a tightly contested Wednesday night, sweeping the night in the ratings. SURVOR led the way as the nights#1 program, topping EMPIRE in three of the four reported categories. The third season premiere of CODE BLACK barely won the hour over an encore of CHICAGO PD, so it may be a rough spring for the medical drama.

For NBC, only THE BLACKLIST was an original episode, coming in third for the 8 PM hour.

ABC pushed two episode of ALEX INC. after encores of its two veteran comedies. At 8 :30, it retained most of its lead in audience, but the 9:30 episode saw the sitcom loose viewers, across all demographics. DESIGNATED SURVIVOR was last in the 10 PM hour.
