Preliminary Ratings: Monday

NBC edges out ABC for the top spot in Monday's ratings. THE VOICE was the #1 show of the night, but lost to AMERICAN IDOL in the A18-34 demographic category. THE VOICE saw losses in the ratings of around 20% from last week, while AMERICAN IDOL was flat.

CBS tops fox for third place, with half the night in encore episodes. CARPOOL KARAOKE did beat THE CROSSING, for second place in the 10 PM hour.
