Preliminary Ratings: March 26, 2018

CBS sweeps the Sunday night ratings with an overrun of the NCAA Basketball tournament and a big showing from 60 MINUTES. The long running newsmagazine drew 21.3 million viewers and posted a 4.0 rating in Adults 18-49, out of the late college basketball game.  Those numbers elevated new drama, INSTINCT, by 1.6 million viewers and 50% in the A18-49 demographic.

ABC held relatively steady, week-to-week, topping both NBC and FOX on the night. AMERICAN IDOL was only down a tenth of a point in the demo, and 400k in total viewership.

All four hours of NBC was down from last week, coming in fourth place in the demo, letting the FOX comedies rise to third on the night.
