US Box Office Results: February 9 - 11, 2018
Three new releases make up the top three of this weekend's box offices results, lead by the third film of the FIFTY SHADES trilogy. FIFTY SHADES FREED collected $38.8 million in its first three days of release. That is $8 million less than the second film, released in 2017 and $47 million less than the first film, in 2015.
PETER RABIT took in $25 million in its first weekend, half of what it cost to produce the film. Right behind that was the latest Clint Eastwood film, THE 15:17 TO PARRIS. The true story picture grossed $12.6 million and is on track for a disappointing $40 million take, domestically, by the end of its theatrical run.
