US Box Office Results: February 16 - 18, 2018

As expected, BLACK PANTHER was the #1 movie of the weekend, bringing in the fifth best three-day opening weekend of all-time. The $192 million is only behind STA WARS:TFA, SATR WARS: TLJ, JURASSIC WORLD and THE AVENGERS. That puts it as the second best opening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. BLACK PANTHER is already the top grossing movie of 2018, setting the standard for all other movies this year.

PETER RABIT hod on to the #2 spot in its second weekend of release and at $48 million domestically, is about to match it $50 million production budget.

JUMANJI is still hanging around, ranking 4th in its 9th weekend of release. At $377.6 million domestically, it has a good shot at hitting $400 million before it ends its theatrical run.
