US Box Office Results: January 12 - 14, 2018

THE POST expanded to wide release this weekend, grossing $18.6 million for the #2 spot. The Spielberg film will make its $50 million production back, but will not be a huge box office draw for 2018.
The top new film of the weekend was THE COMMUTER, starring Liam Neeson. The action drama took third with $13.5 million.
STAR WARS: TLJ dropped to sixth, adding another $11.3 million to its take, which is now at $591 million, domestically, and has $1.26 billion, worldwide.
