Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 01/24/2018

FOX edge out the other three networks, for a Wednesday night win. THE X-FILES was down a notch, from last week's episode, coming in third place for the 8 PM hour. New drama, 9-1-1, won the 9 PM hour, scoring 6.4 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49, also down from last week.

ABC was second on the night, with a two hour edition of THE AMAZING RACE averaging a 1.2 in the A18-49 demo and 6.2 million total viewers. that is 20% drop in the demo and a loss of 700,000 viewers. CRIMINAL MINDS struggled to tie an encore episode of CHICAGO PD, for first in the 10 PM hour.

ABC was down with MODERN FAMILY airing an encore, but edged out an all-encore NBC for third on the night.
