Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 01/23/2018

NBC wins the Wednesday night ratings, winning in all three demographic categories, in every hour of the night. The night kicked off with ELLEN'S GAME OF GAMES, drawing 7.5 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 1.3 million viewers and 18% in the demo, from last week's numbers. THSI SI US didn't let a weaker lead in keep it from drawing its numbers from the previous week, a 2.5 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 17. rating in the A18-34 demographic. CHICAGO MED closed out the night dropping about half its demographic lead in audience and also down two tenths from last week's episode.

CBS was the most watched network, and second in the demographic categories. NCIS and BULL were the two most watched shows of the night, with NCIS: NEW ORLEANS ranking fourth on the night.

FOX was third on the night, down in total viewers, week-to-week, but mostly even in the demo ratings.

With ABC in encores, the CW was able to secure fourth place on the night. Week two of BLACK LIGHTNING only dropped 17% in total viewers and 25% in the demo, from last week's premiere.
