US Box Office Results: December 22-24, 2017

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI continues its dominance over the USA Box Office, securing another $68.5 million. After ten days of release, THE LAST JEDI has raked in $365.1 million, domestically, and an Additional $$380 million internationally. And, that does not even count China, which will get the film in January.

JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE debuted in the #2 spot, with $34 million, topping other new films of PITCH PERFECT 3 ($20.5 million) and THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ($8.60 million). twenty-two years ago, the first JUMNJI movie opened with an $11 million take.

Also opening this weekend was the Matt Damon movie, DOWNSIZING (#7) with $4.6 million and FATHER FIGURES (#9) with just $3.2 million. For Damon, this is second straight movie that has failed to open at or above $5 million and will be the third straight movie that will not make $100 million at the theaters.
