Final Broadcast Ratings: December 19, 2017

As the only network in full original mode, NBC had an easy time winning the Tuesday night ratings. Three hours of THE VOICE averaged 9.9 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. The 2-hour finale, from 9 to 11 PM, attracted 10.9 million viewers and a 2.0 demo. Compared to last year's finale, THE VOICE is down 1.2 million viewers and near 20% in Adults 18-49.

Second place CBS presented the Holiday Special, A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS w/JOSH GORBAN, which tied for third, in the 8 PM hour, in the demos, but #2 in total viewers.

ABC's encore animated specials took second in the hour, leading into the 2-hour retrospective, THE YEAR: 2017. The special was #2 in the 9 & 10 PM hours, topping encores from CBS and FOX.
