Final Broadcast Ratings: December 14, 2017

NBC wins Thursday night, but THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL will pull a season low for a Network (CBS/NBC) aired game. Just 10.6 million viewers tuned into watch two teams that are at the bottom of the NFL standings.

CBS was a close second on the night, with THE BIG BANG THEORY and YOUNG SHELDON winning the 8 PM hour and are the top two shows of the night. The rest of the night, on CBS, was in second place, topping ABC and FOX.

ABC was in punt mode, airing and encore of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT for the recently pulled series, THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW. The ratings were only slightly down from last week's premiere. The night started out good with the premiere of the holiday special, OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE, which grabbed 5.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. That is 40% better than last week's airing of SHREK THE HALLS, in the time slot.

The two FOX holiday specials did adequate numbers, down from lat weeks fall finales of GOTHAM and THE ORVILLE.
