US Box Office Results: November 17 - 19, 2017
JUST LEAGUE debuts as the #1 movie in the USA, but comes in short of expectations. The $96 million domestic gross is about $20 million less than expected and is $26 million less than THOR: RAGNAROK's first weekend take, two week's earlier. The DC comics movie should approach $300 million by the end of its run.
Also new this weekend is the small drama, WONDER, which took second place with over $27 million. It is the best opening for a Julia Roberts movie, since 2010's VALENTINE'S DAY.
The previous #1 movie, THOR: RAGNAROK, fell to third, collecting $21.8 million. Its 17 day take is at just over $247 million, domestically.
