Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 10/04/2017

All 13 series on Wednesday, from the BIG 4 networks, were down week-to-week. FOX still wins the night with EMPIRE and STAR, but the two dramas are down a half a point in the A18-49 demographic and EMPIRE lost 1.3 total viewers, from its premieres.

CBS edged out ABC for second place, as SURVIVOR saw only a 300k difference in viewership from last week and a drop of 10% in the demo. New drama, SEAL TEAM, dropped 1.5 million viewers and 20% in the demo. Long running crime drama, CRIMINAL MINDS, was off by less then 20% in the demo and 800k in viewers.

ABC saw its average drop by more than a half million viewers on the night, and two-tenths of a point in the demo. MODERN FAMILY did tie EMPIRE for the best A18-49 demographic rating, a 1.9 score.

NBC was a close 4th place, ranking 4th in the 8 PM hour, third in the 9 PM hour and first at 10 PM.

The CW replaced its iHEartRadio live concert event for encores of WHOSE LINE? and MASTERS OF ILLUSION.
