Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 10/03/2017

ABC premiered its entire Tuesday night line up, and battled CBS for second place on the night. At 8 PM, THE MIDDLE and FRESH OFF THE BOAT did finish second in the hour, behind THE VOICE. For the night, ABC was #2 in the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics, but third in total viewers and the A25-54 age group.

With a solid one-two punch of THE VOICE and THIS IS US, NBC sweeps the demographic categories, nearly doubling up the closest competitor in the younger age groups. Both shows did see week-to-week losses, with THE VOICE dropping 700,000 viewers and a half a point in the demo, while THIS IS US is down two million viewers and 20% in the demo. LAW & ORDER: TC did win a weak 10 PM hour, despite losing 60% of the demo over 50% in viewers, from its lead in.

CBS was the most watched network on the night, but struggled in the younger demographics. All three dramas were either up or flat from last week's premieres.

FOX was fourth place, across the board.
