Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 10/12/2017

Thursday Night Football rules the Thursday night ratings, scoring a 3.1 rating in Adults 18-49 and grabbing 10.5 million viewers. That is slightly down from last week's game.

The CW premiered its Thursday night line, with SUPERNATURAL drawing 2.1 million viewers for its 13th opener. ARROW, on a new night, held onto 76% of its lead in viewership and 86% in the A18-49 demographic.

ABC still has a strong series in GREY'S ANATOMY, but SCNADAL and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER are both shedding viewers. From GREY'S to SCANDAL, viewership drops 36% and the A18-49 demo loses 40%. From SCANDAL to HTGAWM, viewership drops 24% and the demo loses another 17%.

NBC tops FOX for third, with a fairly consistent night in the ratings. GREAT NEWS drops between 40 and 50 percent of its lead in. WILL & GRACE drops another half million viewers and 15% in the demo from last week's numbers. CHICAGO FIRE is #2 in the 10 PM hour.

FOX just edges The CW for fourth place.
