Preliminary Ratings: Friday 10/20/2017

CBS wins the Friday night ratings, with the three.most watxhed programs and three of the four best rated shows in the A18-49 demographic. HAWAII FIVE-O was the only shiw to post a 1.0 rating in the demo. CBS averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the A18-40 demo.

NBC averaged 3.6 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating on the night. Two hours of DATELINE posted a 0.7 demo and drew 4.2 million viewers.

On FOX, HELL'S KITCHEN posted a 0.8 demo rating, to tie for first in the 8 PM hour. But, low rated THE EXORCIST lost 50% of that lead in. The network averaged 2.0 million viewers and a 0.6 demographic rating.

ABC was #4 on the night, averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. INHUMANS, dipped below two million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, tying THE EXORCIST for third in the hour.

The CW was a distant fifth place, averaging just 600,000 viewers and a 0.2 demo rating.
