Final Broadcast Ratings: October 23, 2017
N BC dominates Monday night leadership, winning in the three demographic categories, while ABC takes total viewership. CBS was a solid third place, while FOX was a distant fourth and The CW, fifth.
THE VOICE was the #2 program of the night, posting a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49 and drawing a total of 10.1 million viewers. that is down from last week's 10.4 million viewers and 2.4 demo rating. THE BRAVE continues to lose half its lead in, but is still holding off SCORPION to take 2nd place in the 10 PM hour.
ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR was #2 in the 18-34 demographic and in total viewers, with 10.4 million. DANCING WITH THE STARS is showing its age, falling under 10 million viewers and was third in the 8 PM hour.
The only thing working well for CBS is THE BIG BANG THEORY, but this is the last Monday it will air on the night, moving to Thursdays on November 2. CBS will struggle on the night, come November, perhaps falling below FOX.
Both FOX programs fell, slightly, week-to-week, placing fourth in their respective hours.
The CW's new drama, VALOR, posted the network's first 0.1 rating in the A18-34 age group, since rolling out the 2017-18 lineup. The CW seriously needs to look at moving/replacing the military series, soon.
